router (msn problems)

hey!

Since my brother and i  both use internet, we use a router! the problem is whenever i go on msn...after 5minutes .. it signs out and i loose connection! is this normal?
what should i do? ??? ::)

    You should give us some more information.
    Make and model of the router, how you are connected to it (wired or wireless), does it happen on both computers, what version of windows are you running...

    yup! it is wired and it happens to both our computers! and we use windows XP!
    so wuts the prob??  if you need anymore info..just ask :D

      Make and model of the router...
      Have you tried restarting it? You can do this by unplgging the power cord, wait ca 10 seconds then plug it back in.

      what is the model of your router? may you have re scheduled the time of your router. i suggest try to reset your router and reconfigured it again
