    Add program to startup
    « on: September 11, 2007, 08:40:23 AM »
I want to add a program to my windows startup.  I'm running Vista.  I know how to remove them, but I can't find any information on how to ADD a program to start when windows starts.

One way to do this is to create a shortcut to the .exe of the program...then place it in Documents and Settings/All Users/Startup folder....

That folder doesn't exist in Vista.

I found this little utility.  It says it works with Vista.  I haven't tried it yet myself though.  You can give it a try if you like.  It's the only thing I could find for you that seems like it would do the trick.  I did some reading there on the website and it seems like it's pretty straight forward to use as well.
