Ghost Images When Printing
« on: September 14, 2007, 07:55:38 AM »
I recently installed new drivers and software for an HP printer. At the same time I received an Email and opened it. Ever since the Email text appears whenever I'm printing whether a file or something from the web. Both a the Email text and whatever I'm trying to print result in a superimposed image.

I have since rebooted and shutdown the machine but the double images still appear. Am running XP Home with a HP Deskjet D1341 printer.

Anyone have any ideas?

I would uninstall the printer completely and re-install it, making sure not to have email or any other programs running in the background this time.

    Thanks mektek,

Reinstalled the printer with no change. Turns out there was a virus, which after a scan and clean the problem disappeared.

Thanks for your time and effort.
