Deleting

Hi,
this is kind of a small problem, but its bugging the *censored* out of me.
Everytime I highlight a bit of text and press delete or highlight and try and type over it, it doesn't delete in...so now the only way of deleting something is to backspace it all or delete key it all which is really annoying for large chunks of text...
can anyone help?

I need more details, Is this happening in your browser ? Some kind of Editor ? With all programs you run ?

Oh, right, I meant to say that, it's happening in Word.

Ok, Sorry for the late response. Now open Word > Tools > Edit > And make sure the box for Typing replaces selection is checked. And that will allow you to select and type over your text or Delete. Now for the Delete problem, I"m still trying to figure that out myself, It would be a lot easier if I was there.
