I didn't say run them, but I understand, you are impatient young guy, so that's OK.
Did you have those two files in some directory, or on your desktop.
Did they install anything? I think, not. Driver files usually don't work that way.
I suspect, they were just self-extracting files, so when you ran them, they just uncompressed files, that were hidden inside.
Now you have to ask Windows to find them.
Go to Device Manager (I'm pretty sure, you know how), click "+" sign next to Display Adapters. You'll see another entry, which is a device, which needs your driver.
Right click on it, and click on "Update Driver". Let Windows Wizard find it.
Let me know, if Windows has any problem with finding it.
You do same thing with your Audio Device driver. This can be find, when you click on a "+" sign next to "Sound, Video, and Game Controllers". Repeat same action, as with video driver.
