Bluetooth function in open SUSE
« on: October 17, 2007, 02:14:47 PM »
I am running open SUSE 10.2.
It works fine.
I have difficulties in transferring files and pictures from my mobile
phone to the computer.
I can send and receive pictures using my mobile phone to other mobile phones within the 10 meters range.

So nothing wrong with my mobile phone.
There is an icon called Bluetooth under the category of hardware on
open SUSE 10.2.

I checked the settings of the Bluetooth. They are fine.

I am trying to send a picture from the mobile phone to the computer.
My mobile phone does not recognize the computer.
I have been trying this for a several days.

As far as I know it is unnecessary to have any cable to transfer a
file or a photo from the mobile phone to the computer via Bluetooth
within 10 meters.

The mobile phone should recognize the computer the way it recognizes
mobile phones which has bluetooth function is activated.

It does not recognize the computer even if the distance is just
10 millimeters.

I want your help to solve the problem.
