can't connect to wireless network
« on: October 18, 2007, 07:47:49 PM »
Hi - I have a Dell Inspiron laptop that has always connected before, but I went to a Marriott Residence Inn that had me connected to a wired internet connection.  I had to call their support to get it working and they had me change all kinds of stuff to get connected.  So now I'm back home, and when I try to view wireless networks, it says none were found in range.  But I know there are always three with ours and the neighbors.  Also, the desktop computer in the same room is connected wirelessly.  And we have rebooted the laptop and the router.  So I know the wireless network is working.  Something is just set wrong in my laptop.  What should I try?   Thank you!!

Check all steps from here:
