ATX2 Power Input Kills Machine Please Help
« on: April 12, 2004, 09:35:50 PM »
Hello all

I am building a new pc and once everything was completed, the machine wouldn't power up. I traced it back to the ATX2 power connecter. When ever it is plugged in the machine wont power up. When its not plugged in, then it does power up. Any ideas on what could be causing this????

Also I purchased a 120gig samsong oem harddrive. No computers are reconizing it, doesn't sound like its even powering on? Any ideas on this too???

I got myself in a big mess!!!!! :-/ Please help

Plugged into what? Could you boot machine without it? More detail please.

Did you buy HD from reputable place? Sounds like it just may be not working... not sure though.

Good luck! Let us know!
