How to lock form in MS word so it doesn't move around
« on: October 29, 2007, 12:58:27 AM »
I'm trying to make a form for my moving company but when entering information in the field the paragraphs move around and screw up the layout...

How can I "lock" the form so that it doesn't move?

I'm attaching the form so you can see what I mean

Right click on an empty part of the MS Word toolbar, click on 'Forms' and click on the lock icon.

Hi John,

I did that but it doesn't fully lock it. For example on the form if you enter let's say 1000000000000000000000000000000 floors, the text will just deform the the form itself...

Hard to explain really...
