How to restore Windows 2000 Prof.

is there any solution for restoring Win 2000 prof like we do in XP through system restore or In Win98 using scanreg.

If you have the operating disk,then you can use the repair mode,but
you will need to reinstall all updates.

A second hard drive as slave and 'Acronis' would be a really good
approach.

    To add a little to street1's advice, if you have another hdd just pull/disconnect your W2k drive and install XP.  If you don't like it, swap 'em back.  That's what I did when moving from W2k to XP.
