    AVG 7.5
    « on: November 13, 2007, 05:28:42 PM »
    (1) Does anyone know if I would have to do anything to the suspicious files that have been moved to the virus vault by a virus detection program (AVG 7.5)?

    (2) If I decide to uninstall the virus program, what would happen to the virus vault and the files contained in it?

    Thanks very much in advance.

    (1) You can empty the virus vault if the computer is still running normal after the items have been removed by the antivirus.

    * They are stored there because sometimes an item is seen as malicious, but is actually not.

    (2) When uninstalling an antivirus and there are items in the vault you will usually be prompted to keep or remove the items in the vault.
