I need to split a partition in 2k server

I need to split a partition in 2k server. Does anyone know how to do this? I am pretty sure I have done it once in the last 7 years, but I have slept since then.

    what is a 2k server.

    some computer specs would also be usefull

      That would be a computer running Windows 2000 Server, Pat. 

      There's software out there called Partition Magic that will allow you to split volumes without first destroying the info on it.
