IE Status Bar in Fullscreen
« on: December 19, 2004, 04:40:52 PM »
Hi,

Ever since I downloaded SP2, when I put IE in fullscreen, the status bar stays down there. The only way I can get rid of it is by manually going into the View menu and unchecking it. It used to do it automatically though when I hit F11 before SP2. Is there a place in the registry that I could edit so it doesn't stay there when I go to fullscreen? It's more of an annoyance than a real problem.

Thanks.

see if this brings it back sfc /scannow typed in the run box...........back up reg first......type regedit in the run box .....Hkeys_Current_Users \software \microsoft\internet explorer now click the + sign for main......scroll down the list and see if the full screen is set to "no"  if its not change it to no    if unsure of playing with the reg files......then dont.!!

Sorry for the late reply.

Thanks a lot, I think I found what I was looking for in the registry. I always back it up before I change it though.
