Why no Reply button for this topic?
« on: December 01, 2007, 01:49:26 PM »
Why is there no reply button for this topic: http://www.computerhope.com/forum/index.php/topic,47034.0.html ?

I notice the icon at the left of the topic title in the window for Other has a lock symbol on it.  Is the topic locked for some reason?

I think, OP has an option to lock own topic, and probably he/she did it by accident.

I see; that makes sense.  I sent him a PM advising him to logon and see whether he can unlock his topic.

I think, you can also ask any Staff person.

Actually, I had reported it to moderators before sending the PM.  We'll see what happens.

First of all, I'm a SHE and in order to learn things, I push buttons and things.  I didn't see anything happen when I clicked on lock/unlock so I left it alone.  Sorry about that!

Oh, it's not a problem.  But, do you understand no one can reply to the question you posted because it's locked?  And, you can unlock it.  If you're not clear on how to do that and want to unlock it so that people can reply to it, let us know.  After all, that was the purpose of posting it, right?
