Internet Connerction Sharing Problem
« on: December 01, 2007, 04:08:51 PM »
Ok heres my issue
I'm trying to hook my Xbox to my PC in my room to play on Xbox live. My Modem/Wireless router is  downstairs and the PC i want to hook up my Xbox to is upstairs. Now the PC upstairs connects via wireless card and from what I've been told this shouldnt be a problem. Everyone I've asked has said that same thing "ICS" (Internet Connection Sharing) But thats were I run into a snag. From what I've read all I have to do is...

Hook up an Ethernet cord from my Xbox to my PC, then
Click start> Control panel> Network connections, then right click my connection> Properties> Advance
Then there should be an option to allow others to use this connection or something along those lines...But I dont seem to have that option

What do I do? I haven't been able to find any helpful info on this.
Btw I'm using WinXP if that helps
