i work with a company that uses profit master system for everything. The wanted me to set up a new printer on the network. The problem is i get a rs232c pry error, the printer conects to a main printer hub up in the office. Then you have to put the printer online with the server so profit master will recognize it. (profit master runs as a program on windows, every computer here has windows xp accept the server which has the profit master sever OS on it) everything goes smoothly until y0ou try to print with profit master when i try to print i get a rs232c pry error. BUT if i press the online/offline button it prints fine. there is an adaptor we use so you can plug a network cable in a serial port on the printer. BTW the printer is also conected to a computer via usb but this is only good for the windows environment, any help would be muchly appreciated. thanks
