"IEXPLORER.exe " errors generated
« on: December 28, 2004, 11:36:01 AM »
When I'm in IE and go to open a new window or download things I get the following message:

IEXPLORER.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows.  You will need to reatart the program.

An error log has been created.

Cancel

This doesn't happen all of the time, just at random.  Once it starts it seems that it does it more and more through out the day.  I have Internet Explorer 6.0 and am running on Windows 2000.

Please help me.  I have run spybot atleast once a day and Norton Anti-Virus, but nothing helps.

Thank you Merlin.  I tried the IEFix download.  We'll see how well that works.  What do you suggest would be the best Trojan scan?

I could never get the updated vrsion of stinger and I still have Hijackthislog. Thanks.
