mailto link in Vista

How can I modify the mailto link in Vista to open up my Yahoo or Hotmail accounts. When I click on an email link, Windows Mail pops up. I went through the Internet Options, Programs, Internet Programs but to no avail.

I don't think, it'll work with web-based mail programs.

No, Vista will not open your webmail for email address links, however, you can go to:
http://get.live.com/WL/config_all
And select Mail for your download option (deselect everything else)
and download. You can then install it, and it will check your Hotmail account through a much more full featured program than just the webmail, and then you can set it to open email links (the program will prompt you: "Windows Live Mail is not yet your default application for email. Would you like to make it as default?" click Yes.
