Where does 'Money is the root of all problems' come from ?

Surely it is 'For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows'  Timothy 6.10 

Despite not being a God fearing type, I think there is a lot in this.

Now, if we can argue that women=money  then we have ' . . the love of women is the root of all evil . .' nooooooooooo  surely not.

But while we're being Biblical, how about : "Do unto others as you would have them do to you". Luke 6:31

Now I know what I like to do with women, but I really don't want it done back to me . .   Hey ho, isn't life fun?
