Internet Explorer Problem

Sir,

   I have open any site in internet explorer of my computer. The home page of the site was open properly, but the problem occurs, only when i click the given links in the site, that links will open the new window page, at the time, the new window page was hanged.

-- Working fine, the link will open in the same window--

--Action Taken - Reinstall the Internet Explorer. Still the problem occurs.--

Please examine the problem, i would like to obliged to do the needful work.

Did you try Firefox?

    Thanks for your response.

Windows 98 and Internet explorer 6.0. This system is used for website maintenance *censored* datum storage.  So Please suggest to solve the problem.
