a 3D computer game that I played a long time ago but forgot the name.

HI.I am searching for a 3D alien space game that I played a long time ago.I remember I was a ship going through like 3d rings and on one part at the end of the rings there was a guy I had to kill.Also in the beginning I had to shoot aliens and that part was 3d too but it was also like one of those old arcade games.I don't know if this game is for the macintosh but All I want is the name of it.I would do anything to find out.I just mostly remember 3D rings that I flew through.It is propubly I really old 3d game.any help would be nice.

sounds like starfox. but i think thats only for consoles.

Yeah, Starfox is the first thing I thought of, but that was an old Super Nintendo game, not a PC game.

I don't know if it was rings because now I remember it was like a vortex or virtual tunnel the ship went through.also this game might have been for the mac but I don't think it was.
