This has been always my basic formula regarding politics, so I DON'T VOTE.

By the way,  whenever somebody "gives" you something,  it didn't just fall out of the sky.
It came from somewhere.      Consider that.    It is important.

Also consider that if they "give" you something, you imply that it is their right  to do so, and it is also their decision NOT to give it to you if they so choose.     

That's why I don't want them to "give" me anything....  I don't want them to have that power to decide, over me.

I DO want them to get the heck out of my way.
"Giving" is not the same as "not taking".

As long as someone is willing to say, "I don't care",  then it is ok if they don't vote.
It bugs me though,  when a non-voter wants to complain about things a year or two or three from now.

Me -  unfortunately I usually have to pick the lesser of two evils.   Or just flat out vote against one of them, by voting for the other one.            Rarely is there ever anybody running for anything that I really like and want in office, across the board.
But, when I walk out of the polling place on general election day,  I am content in knowing that I can rightfully *censored* all I want for the next 2 or 4 years,  because I cared enough to go in there and express myself.
