I need help loading a cdrom on windows 98,disk not displaying images!

A friend, who sold you that CD, might have used incorrect option while burning the CD, and made it unreadable on other computer.

Well technically,the disc was produced by a company,that produce these images,they have sold several discs before and have never had a problem,until mine.
The disc was produced on vista,but was checked on xp before it was shipped to moi.
When i found fault with it,a family friend tried it on their laptop and it worked fine.
So i need help.....

I wonder if your particular drive just doesn't like that particular CD.

If you have family and/or friends that have computers that will read the CD,  could you have one of them simply copy all the .jpgs from the CD to their hard drive,   then burn them back to another CD for you?     
Just to see if that works in your computer.      It might be a work-around solution.

This is not neccessary to make a CD readable...and can only be done on a re-writable.
Actually it can only be done when it is originally burned so i think you're barking up the wrong tree and need to contact whoever made that CD for you.

You have stated it works on another machine.......this means it's probably NOT the CD.
However if it does not work on your machine it's not worth the hassle.
The suggestions posted are all valid ways of solving this dilemna...what you choose to do with the suggestions is up to you.
