    foramtting my computer

    hey guys i put my recovery disk in the computer, but it tells me that the version on my computer is newer than the version on my CD. i tried to restart the computer with the disk in it, but it still wont boot from CD, and i'm not sure how to do that anyway. plz, if u can, explain every step, cuz in the past i had very vague explainations.

    if there anyway i can delete the stuff, plz let me know

    Hi there

    You need to boot then access your bios to change the boot order settings for your system so that it checks your CD drive first, then the HD.

    In order to access your bios, you'll need to press a key before the HD boot kicks in. The key you need to press depends on your system.

      maybe the lens of your drive is not working anymore... so check it.
