    Help plz

    im having some problems with i think my graphics card i have nvidia 6600 and when i want to watch movies or play a game i can play for about 2 mins and suddenly it freezes, i can exit and then i have to reboot my pc
    any suggestions

    ive updated the drivers and direct x
    using windows xp

      It could be a overheating issue.
      Turn off your computer and open the case.
      Clean out the inside of your case with a can of compressed air (don't use a vacuum cleaner). Especially blow the dust out of heatsinks and fans. Don't let the fans spin while you blow compressed air at them, hold them gently in place.
      Remember to take anti-static precautions before you start to work inside the case. Touching a metal piece of the case should do it.

          Can't really think of any other ways that can do the job as throughly and quickly as compressed air.

            you can purchase compressed air at many computer stores, or you can use a compressor. if you use a compressor, remember to turn the PSI way down to about 20.

                Use the on-board temperature sensor most motherboards have.

                Download and install SpeedFan, it supports reading from most sensors.
