Typed report gone on Firefox. Still in cache/cookies?

I was typing a report on LiveJournal late at night and 'forgot' to save it. I am very frustrated as this took me a very long time and consists of information I don't think I could re-write again.

Since the page was left open and edited for hours, I am wondering if either my laptop or my FireFox privacy settings saved any of that information.

I would pay good money to get it back. I am fairlyadvanced at computer fiddling, so any advice about digging through my laptop's organs is fine.

Typed text isn't cached, so no.
Actually the cache is only for images so anything else isn't cached.

Posts like this are not helpful.  For one thing, it's too brief.  It provides no useful information.  If you have a point to make, then say something of substance. Exactly what do you mean?
