HELP WITH ORANGE BROADBAND

i have just signed up for orange broadband but the livebox will not connect to my desktop pc but it works perfectly with a lap top. There seems to be something missing with my pc connection. Please help

    first off, have you followed the set up on the CD? entering username/pass.. or a WEP key
    if you have done what was asked in the set up then only advice i can give is give Orange a call (there costmer servis is not so bad when i last used it)

    also might be an idea to check in Network connections to see if the router/wireless adapter is detected, but not connected.. or your computer is not picking up nothing at all. before you give orange a call.

    may possibly be a USB hub that is faulty so maybe wire it up again, that's if your using a USB for it.
    i don't know, just a few ideas.. someone else will probaly reply later that has a solution for you :)
