Outlook 2000 for Windows XP SP2

I have always installed Ms Office Outlook 2000 on previous XP machines, to use our local Lan email mailbox system.  It is peer to peer.  This has always worked and would let me configure Services, to point to the local pc with local addresses.  However, I can not get to the Services option on SP2.  The system will let me install Ms Office 2000 as normal, but I can not configure it for local Lan traffic.  Any suggestions?

Have you tried running a Windows Update by going to http://www.microsoft.com ?
