    Audio Drivers?

    Say you are in a situation where have just formatted your PC and then installed a fresh version of the operating system... Naturally you would have to reinstall the drivers, but then you don't have the CD to get them at the moment... When downloading audio drivers for your system, what are you supposed to look at? The Motherboard model? or The Chipset? Thanks in advance... <newbie here> XD

      You can do both actually. But the safest thing to do is to visit the manufacturer of the motherboard's website. They will usually have the correct drivers.
