    I guess it must have been something on your computer, as you have tested IE, firefox and Opera and your HJT log is checked up and good. I would have suggested you try Safari browser (which you probably know works with Windows now) but I am thinking that it wouldn't work either.

      Yep thanks. I'm just thinking some how it's a combo of some good pop up and add blockers working too well.

        ya i've tried that also. but no luck. At least I think I uninstaled them all. But I don't know how to be sure.

        Do you know how to open the add/remove tool in windows? Check there to see if any browser is still listed. Only browser you can't uninstall is internet explorer. You can only upgrade to ie7 or downgrade to ie6 from ie7.
