Where do I get a good free Grammar check.
« on: April 27, 2008, 08:53:22 AM »
I need to find a program that is free and checks grammar. I already have Microsoft word 2007, but to be honest it is not good at checking grammar. Can anyone suggest a good program? Thanks!

I can't suggest a good program because I've never tried any of them other than Word's grammar checker, which I agree is not always accurate.  So, I suggest browsing through the search results at http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=grammar+checking+software&btnG=Google+Search

Yeah, some good, old-fashioned proof reading, right, quaxo?  I'm inclined to agree think no software is going to be perfect at grammar checking, so software can not completely replace careful proof reading by the writer.

How much does Words grammar checker cost? I visited the site and it does not mention the cost of the program. I only need one because I have done so much work without checking it.
