    Go Start>Run, type in:
    cmd
    Click OK.

In Command Prompt window, type in following commands, and hit Enter after each one:
    ipconfig /flushdns
    ipconfig /registerdns
    ipconfig /release
    ipconfig /renew

    Restart computer.

I just did, and I don't notice anything different D:

I tried resetting the hosts file with HostXpert, also, but that didn't help.
Do you really know what that "resetting" did?  How about just viewing your hosts file in Notepad and see what's actually in it?

      A reference: http://accs-net.com/hosts/how_to_use_hosts.html

I think you really need to verify that the hosts file is not the culprit here, and I'm not convinced you've done that.

Opening my hosts, it's the same as the example listed. There wasn't a line that had my website in it, so I disabled hosts by renaming it an making it a .txt, like they suggested. There hasn't been a difference, and I still cannot access my site D: Am I missing a step?

Thats what HostsXpert is for. It resets the original MS Hosts file. http://www.funkytoad.com/content/view/13/31/

      Download HostsXpert
      • Unzip HostXpert to your desktop
      • Open up the HostXpert program.
      • Make sure that the "Make Hosts Writable?" button in the upper right corner is enabled.
      • Click Create Back Up
      • Then click on Restore Microsoft's Host Files
      • Close the HostXpert program
Note: If you were using a custom Hosts file you will need to replace any of those entries yourself as well as run Spybots Immunize and enable all protection in SpywareBlaster.
