    AVG or AVAST?

    On a new laptop, I will use avg or avast. Which of the 2 do you suggest?

    I have read here in the forum that latest avg (8?) is not as performing as previous one.

      AS far as I have seen, most of the usuals on the board favor Avast! over AVG

      The newest AVG (8.0) is definitely having problems, so, at this point, get Avast.

      I'm definitely in favor of AVG.  Just get 7.5 until they work all of the kinks out of the new version.

        I like avast better, you can only use one other wise it causes problems.
