well i opened my computer and tried taking out my video card but i was unsuccessfully. My video card would not come out its like its stuck in there. there are no screws or anything like holding it in. the front side of the video card comes out but the backside remains in there. i put a little force into taking it out but it wont budge.

By "backside" do you mean side by computer case? If so, it should be a little screw, securing it to the case.
    Any signs of heat/burning?

no i don't see any marks of burning or melting or anything like that. the backside has in the front side is where the monitor wire goes, and there arent any screwed holding down the video card

Try to wobble it gently, side wise. There is a lip, which goes in between computer case, and the motherboard.

Did you clean connectors with an eraser?
Do you have another slot to put the card in?

If you did, remove  video card completely, and restart computer.

i restarted my computer without the video card and the the screen is working fine, so the culprit is the video card, but i don't understand why its giving a problem. the video card is fairly new i saw about 8-9 months old.

Even things out of the box are broken sometimes. There is no rule.
It should be still under warranty.
You may try it in another computer, but I see slim chances.

By removing video card, you uninstalled card itself. When you put it back, Windows will find it again. You may try to download the newest drivers, uninstall current one, and install new one.
                But...not much hope IMO.
