    Help finding attack logs?

    I am new to this site but could use some help.......How do i check on windows vista to see if i am being flooded? DoS? Would command prompt : netstat -n -p tcp   -- show floods?

    What do you mean by "flooded"?

      Where your ip is flooded ? Someone sendig msgs over and over or has a progam that does it.  Making you lose connection. "DoS"ing.

      ...and those messages come through what program?
      What Windows version? What type of connection?

        i run windows vista, with a cable modem and router......it has happened before i was Dos'ed with pings of death, tear drop, and fragmentation floods.....but i cant remember how i checked it?  And i think it was happening again today. There has to be sometype of event log or something for this type of thing, right?

          there should be a log within the router settings. check there.
