Msn not functioning
« on: May 26, 2008, 04:13:44 PM »
My Windows Live Messenger is not functioning properly. Each time I sign in computer freezes. Strange thing is that other users with a different account can sign in no problem from my computer. Furthermore I can sign in on any other Windows Live on other PC's.

I've tried Unisntalling and then Reinstalling Windows Live Messenger. I've also tried downloading an older version of the software, still computer freezes. I've used system restore many times, used sybot 2 scan for errors, everything . . .

I'm honestly baffled at this and the only solution I can think of is formatting hard disk.

Have you got any other less drastic suggestions??

Thanks :)

could you possibly create a new msn id? inform your contacts? If other users can log on using your computer then this would be less time consuming than formatting if it works.
