Error -- can't write ESCD. Invalid system disk

hi! First time and got a little knowledge about computer.  The booting sequence cannot finish and just freeze and an error comes up "Error -- can't write ESCD.   Invalid system disk  Replace the disk, and then press any key."
Can anyone help me with my problem?  I am using my cousin PC. Hoping that there is somebody who will help me. :-[ :-[ :-[


btw, i have remove the HDD and put it in a workable system unit of my cousin and it function very well.
