    I don't know if this is the place for this question but... I just bought a Compaq Presario with Windows Vista. Almost from day one I have had to restart the computer about once or twice a day in order to use the keyboard. After the computer has been running for awhile the keyboardeither quits working altogether or the keystrokes don'r match what Iv'e typed. I have already changed the keyboard once through the factory. What could this be? It is getting worse.

    It's new and under warranty, so call HP support.  Be persistent to get this resolved.

      from what i have heard HP's support is not all that helpful, so you might have to twiddle your thumbs for a bit while you wait for a response

      I've emailed them a question a few years ago and I got a reply like a week later.
      Pretty helpful reply though.
