    Computer keeps restarting

    well yeah i made a computer like 6months ago...i dont know now
     i have to press the rest button alot just to have it start up now...and
    my computer just restarts out of nowhere....hahaha kinda crazy! i think
    its haunted or sumthing...well if you find a solution to my problem can
    you please help me on it? and remember IM A COMPUTERNOOB!!  ;D

      i have Windows Xp serivce pack 2, intel core duo, 2.0 ghz, 1.5 of RAm...
      and yes im stilla computer noob XD

        When did this start happening?  What were you doing on the computer when it started to do this?  What happens to the computer when you press the start button?  How often does the computer "restart" itself?  Are you doing anything in particular when it restarts, or is it truly random?

            this happend liek a week later after i built the computer so like
            6 months ago..when i press the start botton on my computer it starts up but my monitor is
            black..so i have to press the reset button liek 3-6 times to make my monitor start up...and
            this happens everytime i start up my computer now....and this is not random...my dad
            has been telling me to get help and im working on it...so if you would be kind and help? if
            you can find a solution...thanks

              i dont think so...i had my dad check and my dad is
              a good computer dude...and he tells me everything is working alright but then
              he can not find the solution to it...so yeah...i dont really know whats going on with
              my comptuer lol its just messed up i guess....but if you can find a solution can you
              help? lol if you cant its all ok...thanks for your time too for reading my troubles :)

                I once had the same problem before.  I had to reset a few times before anything came up on my monitor because my computer did not meet all the requirements of my video card.
