Hooking Up Onboard Sound
« on: July 22, 2008, 10:40:19 PM »
I just put together a new PC and the motherboard came with onboard sound that is labeled different than I have ever seen before.  The wiring in my case is labeled ( Ground, Return L, Return R, Spkrout L, SpkrOut R, Mic In, Mic Bias)

The labeles on the new motherboard are (Port1L, Port1R, Port2R, Sense_Send, Port2L, Ground, Presence#, Sense1_Ret, Sense2_Ret)

Which connectors go where?

Before anyone flames me... I know Ground goes to Ground.

Can't help you. Have you gone to the case manufacturer's site and the motherboard manufacturer's site to look for the answer? Maybe a forum there?

    Best of luck!

...when will you have time to do it over?
