Gaining access to a website's forms
« on: July 25, 2008, 10:12:10 AM »
Dear Computer Hope Members,

I have been attempting to enter a government website's (http://www.vocat.vic.gov.au/wps/wcm/connect/VOCAT/Home/Applying+to+VOCAT/How+To+Apply/VOCAT+-+Application+for+Assistance+-+Form) forms that come in both, PDF and Adobe Acrobat Reader formats but when I click on Forms, my computer is unable to open documents in either format. I run Windows XP on my computer and have latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. I do not have this problem on any of the other government websites I have used in the past.
Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.
Regards

There may be problem with the site. I couldn't open the PDF forms either. Perhaps you could call them at 1 800 882 752.

Download the PDF of whatever it is here:
Information Guide:
http://www.vocat.vic.gov.au/wps/wcm/connect/VOCAT/resources/file/eb440e401b1b60a/VOCAT_Information_Guide_9-07.pdf

Application for Assistance form:

http://www.vocat.vic.gov.au/wps/wcm/connect/VOCAT/resources/file/eb4408401b10411/VOCAT_Application_for_Assistance.pdf

That should be it. The address they have was wrong.
I don't have a PDF reader, so I couldn't test the files to see if they work.

They work for my laptop, and only one of the other two computers. Strange....

You can also DLoad and install Foxit Reader for PDF's and give that a whirl...

You may find it to your liking.
