    Inspiron 1525 Drivers for windows xP?

    I'm wanting to get a laptop, but I will be downgrading to XP. I was looking at the Inspiron 1525 so Does anyone know if it has the correct drivers for Windows XP?? I need to know 100% sure, because I will be buying it and if it cannot be downgraded I will be sooo angry, becuz I HATE Vista!!

    I don't think you will encounter any errors. This I upgraded this Lenovo Laptop to Windows XP. Drivers were fine.

    You can also get the drivers directly from Dell.Just choose the XP Operating
    system.

      You are so right!! That is an UPGRADE! Vista sucks man. My friend has vista, and so many programs dont even work for him!!

      Just to be sure; Do I have to download those drivers to the laptop when I get it?? Or is those the drivers they come with or something??? Im not too sure on what thats for?

      After you install Windows XP, you should download and Install those drivers.
      (because when you install XP, it will format your current HD, erasing everything).

        I would DLoad the drivers now and burn them to CD....don't wait until the XP install to do so...you may not be able to connect without the drivers.

        Yeah I was going to suggest him copy them to a Flash drive but he says it worked out fine.  8)
