Fans.  You need to move air through the case.  Some fans suck air in, others need to blow air out.
True. Typically, one fan mounted in front of the case to draw air into the case and a fan at back to exhaust warm air out the back is a good configuration.  Fans pointed in the wrong direction can just cause more heat inside the case.

Perhaps hejlik should remove his CPU heatsink, clean the old thermal paste off, apply fresh thermal paste, and then reinstall his heatsink and fan.

The CPU heatsink should also be carefully inspected to see whether the spaces between the cooling fins on the heatsink have dust in them.  I would check this first, before removing heatsink and applying fresh thermal paste.

ok. I did some fiddling around with the Fans, added 3 extra ones, and i also fiddled with the heat sink. Idle temp is now between 50-65. Which is still hot, but a lot better then 80. But I think the sensor nodes are screwed up because i was monitoring the the cpu and and it jumped from 50 celsius to 265 Celcius, after a few seconds it was back down to 49 degrees. I don't even think such a  dramatic heat change could be possible. not to mention if it did happen. My cpu would be dead. I'm not sure if this could be a problem but a while back when i bought the cpu, i went into a contest and won 2nd place by overclocking each core in the duo core to 5.5 GHZ for 1 min, until i stopped because i didnt want to damage my cpu. no fans were running at the time either, wasn't allowed for the contest. So what do u guys think? (The thermal paste I use it http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=23553&vpn=AS5%2D12G&manufacture=ARCTIC%20SILVER)

NOTE: Since I can't have more then 4 fans around the cpu, which i have, I need to make each individual one more efficient. So if anyone knows any good fan design please tell me about it. Money isn't an issue but I don't to spend like 35 bucks per fan either.

There isn't really much you can do about the design of a fan.
I would guess a faster motor with more blades with a larger angle would be cooler.  :D

My Idle temp is around 50 - 55.

yah but i underclocked mine by .8 GHZ. and its still hot. the original speed is 3.8 GHz. factory set.

Wow, .800MHz.  Maybe it isn't coming from the CPU? It could the the Video Card or PSU for all we know.

It's not the video card, as its got 2 fans pointed right at it. and it stays at about 37 degrees celsius. Hmmm...psu...maybe. I put my hand near the psu fan, and its blowing out hot air into the room.

Blowing out? Isn't it supposed to be blowing in?

EDIT: Actually I don't know. One of my experimental computers here has it blowing in and the other two have it blowing out.  :-X

well its got 2 fans. one blowing air out of case, and one taking in air from inside the case. im getting a new psu soon so if thats the problem itll be fixed.

Cool, although that isn't my expertise so I can't really tell you anything more than you already know.  :D

I guess if your computer has been running fine all this time, there is no harm in waiting 9 or so days.

ohh ok. One last question. Since it has 2 cores, will the cpu produce twice as much heat? maybe thats why it was soo high before( the heat)

I'm afraid that is a question I don't know the answer to. It seems fairly logical but I'm sure there are other factors contributing to the heat.

Uhh i did some more fiddling around and my cpu has a new low of 46 C. When its under load it doesnt go above 65 for the most part.. is this normal?

My computer is about the same. Idles at 50 and can get as high as 60.
