 but can't i like do execute 'file name' and that file would be the boot disk file.

Well, you can actually use that boot floppy, and at least see, if computer will stay there, or it'll reboot.

oh ok now i see and broni, i'll take everything out of the comp and but it back in. but i'll do that when my dad coem back so i'll let you know tomorrow then, but thanks for all your help

YESS!!!!!!!!!!! I FOUND MINE!!! it was in a box! HOWEVER I can't find the CD-Key!! it was on this kool shiny Genuine Case which came with the CD but the CD was in a CD case =[ well i don't wan to try restore without you guys telling me to because i don't have any idea how to use it. reformatting would be my last option, which i need to find the CD-key for it. but still are there any other Ideas??!

ok i have tried that but when i press 'ENTER' at the menu screen, a couple minutes later I got a blue screen, and gave me this Technical Code:

i have NO IDEA what this is!! HELP!

According to Google, that is a RAM issue.

How much RAM do you have and have you followed Broni's advice on Reseating it?

Reseat RAM. If you have more than one stick, try one at a time.
