xp installation problem

I had formatted my c drive, now while installation when setup copying the installation file my computer stop responding...

i had tried with different copy of cd and cd drive also changed hard disk but the same problem.

what could b the problrm

Also, what are the specs of the computer?
(Video Card, RAM, Processor, Hard Drive Capacity, ect...)

actually for every step i have to b in hurry, if i late for few sec or else key board stop responding.

as soon as winow starting up i have to enter quicly.
last time xp setup asked option to format or leave as same an then started copying installation file and after few min copying stop responding.

i had p4 1.5 , 512mb ram 4ogb hdd, c space free 20gb already c formated.

Can you try formatting the Hard Drive (this will get rid of everyone on the HD, just in case you didn't know)
