Double-click on the icon located on your desktop to launch the application

    ----------------------------(The end)-------------------------------

    New York Times: "Simply amazing!"

Time Magazine: "How does he do it?!"

    Flame: "Oh God..."

Ah, but what if... there is no icon on the desktop... there is no desktop just a prompt like A:/... the program has not yet been installed... the program requires user input & the user doesn't know what keys to pound...

What if the OP is away with the fairies & is just winding us all up???

    WHAT IF..........................

Click on Start, and find the program in your programs list. Next click on the file to launch the application...

    ----------------------------(The end)-------------------------------

New York Times: "This is amazing!"

Time Magazine: "How does he do it?! and a second time at that!"

    Flame: "Oh God... (head shaking)"

I'm guessing that this is Microsoft Works, and it is a Word document correct? Also, rather than asking if it will work, try it...

If you scanned it as a picture (the default settings for most scanners), then, no, you cannot edit it with works, it is a picture not a text type file.

If your scanner came with OCR (Optical Character Recognition) and you used the OCR on the scan and then put it is Works, then yes you can edit it.

If it's an image pasted to works then it COULD be edited using the font tools in the picture menu.  This is super cheesy but will work.

Yeah, considering the whole thread I was trying to stay away from "super cheesy".

Being that you scanned the menu using a scanner, this is a Paint file... Can you just erase the price(s) that you want changed, and replace that empty scape with the new price?
