    Computer not working at all
    « on: November 17, 2008, 08:12:17 AM »
I was cleaning the cpu/fan on the atx motherboard then I put the computer on without putting the cpu/fan back to sacket properly.  Then the computer went on for a few seconds than it turn off automatically.  I put the cpu/fan on back the sacket properly sealed then I try to put the computer on but the computer does not go on at all not even the atx 320 power supply fan went on, too.  I brougth a new atx power supply 500 watts to install the atx motherboard but I still have the same problem the PSU fan does go on and the computer does not go on.

Do I need to get a new atx motherboard?

Did you use Thermal Paste ? ?

    Instructions

Some AMD chips will burn up in under 10 seconds with the fan not running...hopefully this isn't true in your case.
