    How to fix this problem?
    « on: November 17, 2008, 09:02:54 PM »

    Hi

I had no problem logging on to my company's outlook from my home computer; however, this week this message came up:

The page must be viewed over a secure channel
The page you are trying to access is secured with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).

    Please try the following:
Type https:// at the beginning of the address you are attempting to reach and press ENTER.
HTTP Error 403.4 - Forbidden: SSL is required to view this resource.
    Internet Information Services (IIS)

    Technical Information (for support personnel)
Go to Microsoft Product Support Services and perform a title search for the words HTTP and 403.
Open IIS Help, which is accessible in IIS Manager (inetmgr), and search for topics titled About Security, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), and About Custom Error Messages.

Can you explain what the problem is and how do I fix it. I am using internet browser Opera and Firefox.

    thank you

      Hi

that is the Outlook (email) on my office computer. I was able to log on from my home computer by remote (Sonicwall) ..when go to the company webaddress and I enter my office password  and then it will bring me to "Web Mail Outlook" and if i click on it, it should bring me to my office email outlook. Now I am not able to do it as this message comes up. thanks

Check with the IT department at work...
They may have made some changes.

...also, in Firefox, Tools>Options, see, if your setting looks like the one below:
