JAVA JRE Will not work

I have most recent JAVA 6 updated version 10.
All settings in JAVA panel and MS I.E 7.0 browser are correct.
Still cannot use java sites. Get white box with red x.

Example site: http://www.ludochess.com/jester_eng/jester_eng.php3

I have viewed this site previously with no problems.
Also when trying to use other sites with Java it says Java not working
properly; yet when I go to Java.com, it tests computer and says all is correct.

(even though your java may be the newest version, try reinstalling it)

As I mentioned in details, have MS I.E 7.0 browser.

Also, removed all old JAVA and reinstalled updated Java 6u10 then confirmed settings as required for use. With it verified by the Java web site.

I had FireFox loaded couple months ago, but did not care for it; removed it.

Something has obviously changed on my computer, that both MS and Java cannot assist me with. I'll just keep trying different things, for I know that I never had problems with java sites, specifically the one I mentioned earlier.

What is puzzling is that all the things that MS and Java say need to be set for both in java panel and I.E. browser is correct.

As Carbon said, try Firefox, so we can see, if your problem is browser related, or something else.

Carbon was right; I reconsidered and downloaded Firefox.

All Java sites working, so it is MS I.E. browser related problem.

So will continue learning more about while using Firefox.
