Importing .dbx messages from out to Windows Mail

Can anyone tell how to import .dbx messages from outlook express 6 to window mail
I have copied them from xp outlook express on one computers and pasted them on the desktop of the vista computer but there is no place in windows mail to import them. When you browse for them in tells me the folder is empty. Any clues? Ojas

export from outlook, then in windows mail select file, import...
